Master Diwakar Needs Help Urgently To Survive

Diwakar Dubey, a 6-year-old, is once again fighting for his life. He is in a severe condition and is currently admitted to AIIMS, New Delhi.

He is suffering from relapsed acute lymphoblastic leukaemia or relapsed ALL. In relapsed ALL — as with newly diagnosed ALL — lymphocyte stem cells (a type of blood stem cell) become immature white blood cells called lymphoblasts or “blasts.” These blasts do not become healthy white blood cells. Instead, they build up in the bone marrow, so there is less room for healthy white blood cells, red blood cells, and platelets. In addition, these abnormal cells are unable to fight off infection.

Pradeep Dubey, Diwakar’s father, is a farmer from Sultanpur, UP. He cannot afford his son’s treatment. Pradeep had already used whatever little he had the first time his son was diagnosed with blood cancer. He has nothing left to sell to pay for his son’s medical bills.
